Generally Speaking...
At Brown's Tae Kwon Do, you'll find courteous people from all backgrounds, and
at all ages. No one is too young or too old. Tae Kwon Do provides development
for both the body and the mind. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
Tae Kwon Do is especially great for children as it stresses respect, discipline,
academic achievement, and self-control.
Tae Kwon Do is by nature a physical sport so consult your physician if you have
any condition that may be aggrevated by strong arobic exertion. In many cases,
the physical fitness aspects of Tae Kwon Do(cardio, muscle-tone, breathing,
stretching, weight-loss, & meditation) provide an enriched state of physical
health.
Tae Kwon Do is wonderful for the whole family, bettering relationships among
spouces, children, and peers.

Mr. David Chadwell
I have been in a Tae Kwon Do class since September of 1997, starting at age 70. My reason for entering Tae Kwon Do
was exercise and self-defense. I doubted that I would be accepted because of my age and some chronic arthritis. My first instructor,
Master Bob Bowman, advised me to give it a try, saying that "You can do what you can do." I found him to be a competent and admirable person.
Since starting, I have been under various instructors, masters, and grandmasters. Without exception I have found them all able to do many amazing and unbelievable things;
not the least of which is getting me to accomplish things often beyond my personal expectations.
Due to the persistence and superb coaching of Grandmaster Kwan Sung Lee, I earned my 2nd Degree Black Belt. Imagine that! Looking back to 1997, this accomplishment
was greater than my goals or expectations.
My present study under Master Lloyd Brown has turned out to be the best of them all!
Tae Kwon Do provides as much exercise as an individual is able to do. The exercise and striking techniques that are done in class can be
done at home or other places with or without a partner. The continued practicing leads to better and better results. In time, you develop
a spontaneous response to an aggresive movement from an opponent.
The mental and physical discipline of Tae Kwon Do is probably the chief benefit to the practitioner. No one learns all there is to know. You can always
learn to do better, be faster, and do more. Some people do better than others. Some people work harder than others. They all win in either case. Try it and you will see!!!

Mr. Terry Rush
My family started Tae Kwon Do two years ago. We enjoy doing activities as a
family and try to keep active. I am proud to say that my two sons, Joey and
Jimmy, will soon be Black Belts. They have both worked very hard and Master
Lloyd Brown has prepared them for their test and continued studies.
Our Tae Kwon Do family is very special to us and my friendship with Master
Lloyd Brown has gotten me through some very tough times during the past year.
I would recommend Master Lloyd Brown's Tae Kwon Do to any family that wants to
remain close and continue to be active together. Every class is fun and
provides a spiritual and physical workout. I am sure that we will continue Tae
Kwon Do for the rest of our lives.

Ms. Pam Brashear
When I started Taekwondo 9 years ago, I thought, "Once I become a black belt,
I'll know it all - pressure points, how to fight, break bricks, etc." At that
time, I didn't know that there are 9 levels of black belt and that the learning
process never ends. I still set goals and achieve them, but it forces me to
never settle for "having learned all I'll ever learn." This is not just for
Taekwondo, it's for life.
