I'm Master Lloyd Brown. I'm 45 years old, and a sixth degree black belt in
Tae Kwon Do. I started in the martial arts at the age of 12 years old in Del
Rio, Texas.
When I came to Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 15, I began training with my
uncle, a retired vietnam veteran and 3rd degree black belt, and my older brother
Larry, a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
I was always searching, trying to find the "True Korean" Tae Kwon Do. I
studied with several masters in the Louisville area before I met Grandmaster
Kwan Sung Lee. I joined his school in April 1984. His style was the true Tae
Kwon Do that I had been searching for.
When Grandmaster Lee passed away, I started my own school in 2004 to preserve the
traditional teachings of Tae Kwon Do. I teach with spirit, courtesy, and
integrity.
Traditional Tae Kwon Do takes discipline and a dedication to the "true" art.
If you want to realize your potential and rise above the commercialization of
modern martial arts, I hope you'll join us.
