Tae Kwon Do Testimonials

Mr. David Chadwell

I have been in a Tae Kwon Do class since September of 1997, starting at age 70. My reason for entering Tae Kwon Do was exercise and self-defense. I doubted that I would be accepted because of my age and some chronic arthritis. My first instructor, Master Bob Bowman, advised me to give it a try, saying that "You can do what you can do." I found him to be a competent and admirable person.

Since starting, I have been under various instructors, masters, and grandmasters. Without exception I have found them all able to do many amazing and unbelievable things; not the least of which is getting me to accomplish things often beyond my personal expectations.

Mr. Terry Rush

My family started Tae Kwon Do two years ago. We enjoy doing activities as a family and try to keep active. I am proud to say that my two sons, Joey and Jimmy, will soon be Black Belts. They have both worked very hard and Master Lloyd Brown has prepared them for their test and continued studies.

Our Tae Kwon Do family is very special to us and my friendship with Master Lloyd Brown has gotten me through some very tough times during the past year.

I would recommend Master Lloyd Brown's Tae Kwon Do to any family that wants to remain close and continue to be active together. Every class is fun and provides a spiritual and physical workout. I am sure that we will continue Tae Kwon Do for the rest of our lives.
Ms. Pam Brashear

When I started Taekwondo 9 years ago, I thought, "Once I become a black belt, I'll know it all - pressure points, how to fight, break bricks, etc." At that time, I didn't know that there are 9 levels of black belt and that the learning process never ends. I still set goals and achieve them, but it forces me to never settle for "having learned all I'll ever learn." This is not just for Taekwondo, it's for life.
